In SA all members share the same bottom line definition of “sexual sobriety”. SA believes that lust is to the sexaholic what alcohol is to the alcoholic. Sexaholics Anonymous is a 12 step recovery program founded in 1982 that uses the AA model of recovery and basic AA literature for recovery from sexual addiction. The primary purpose is to stay committed in loving and intimate relationships and to help other couples achieve freedom from dysfunctional relationships. RCA is a 12-Step Fellowship founded in the Autumn of 1988 to help recovering couples restore their relationships. Recovering Couples Anonymous (RCA) is a fellowship of recovering couples suffering from many addictions and dysfunctions. Our program of recovery is adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous and is based on the Twelve Steps and the Twelve Traditions.

The S-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of the relatives and friends of sexually addicted people who share their experience, strength and hope in order to solve their common problems.

As we meet to share our experience, strength, and hope while working the twelve steps, we grow stronger in spirit and begin to lead our lives more serenely and in deeper fulfillment. Adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon, COSA is a program for our spiritual development, no matter what our religious beliefs. COSA is a twelve-step recovery program for men and women whose lives have been affected by another person’s compulsive sexual behavior.
